Your role at Bromley FC?

Bromley Ladies Player

How long you have been involved in football?

I have been involved in football since I was 10 years old, so around 21 years now! I started at Crystal Palace Ladies and then moved to Long Lane Ladies and finally Bromley Ladies. I have been in many cup finals and luckily won a good few medals and trophy’s which I’m incredibly proud of. I was captain at Bromley for around 2 seasons also and lifted the Kent Plate during that time which was an amazing experience.

Your experience of working in football?

I have been very lucky with the people I have met in my time in football as all have been so supportive of us ladies and pushing the confidence and ability. I know not everyone has had the same, so I count myself lucky!

What would be your message to other women and girls who would like to work in football?

For other woman and girls in the football scene I would say keep at it, keep going and keep enjoying your football. It’s the best sport in the world and is full of amazing experiences. I have made lifelong friends playing football and it has kept me sane for all these years! We are paving the way for our future ladies to be treated equally and be taken seriously in football and it’s working. We are all invaluable!
