Your role at Bromley FC?

Community Media and Communications Assistant

How long you have been involved in football?

I always played football as a kid and got into coaching when I was 17. I only started my role in football recently but have worked in the sports industry for the past three years.

Your experience of working in football?

In my short time working in football I have found it to be very welcoming and inclusive. When I worked in sports before this wasn’t necessarily the case, so it’s really refreshing to be working in an environment where I feel accepted.

What would be your message to other women and girls who would like to work in football?

Football isn’t just about what happens on the pitch, there’s so much more going on behind the scenes where there are opportunities for anyone and everyone. If football, or sport in general, is something you enjoy and a career that you want to pursue, don’t be put off by the fact it’s seen as a male dominant environment because there will always be a place for you and lots of opportunities to pursue your career.
